My Body Confidence Journey: Day 12 - Changing body language to improve confidence!
Before now, even after learned about body language a few years ago, I still closed myself off to others by covering myself with a cushion, my bag or even by crossing my arms. This always made me feel much safer. However, in the last few days I have noticed that I have stopped doing this. I would like to point out that this was not a conscious change initially (although I am much more aware now), I noticed it in hindsight, so this was a big breakthrough for me!
STRATEGY 1: If this is something you can relate to, consider how you might be able to open up your body language. Sometimes it’s a matter of “fake it until you feel it”. If you always do what you’ve always done, then not much will change. If you push yourself out of your comfort zone, by taking small steps, then you will become the person you have always wanted to be.
