Great Children's Books
“That’s the real trouble with the world, too many people grow up. They forget.” - Peter Pan
This week, we are focusing on great Christmas gifts that are also great for your child’s mental health and development.
Today we wanted to share some recommended reads, from authors HappiMe has connected with recently…
‘William the What If Wonder’ by Carol Wuff is a fantastic CBT based book series to help children prepare for key events, like starting school. It uses positive reframing in a simple and understandable way, to help children understand how to choose a helpful thought, over an unhelpful one. Suitable for ages 4-8.
‘The Light Within Me’ by Lauren Grabois Fischer is an inspirational children's book that empowers children to find the light within themselves and use that light to make a positive change in the world. Suitable for toddlers.
‘Hey Awesome’ and ‘Hey Warrior’, also known as ‘The Brave Set’ are written by Karen Young. The books are great for children with anxiety, helping them see themselves the way we see them. Suitable for children of all ages (U10).
If you can, Google the books and try to buy directly from the author. Let’s try to support #independentbusinesses this Christmas.
