Does gratitude improve your health?

Since we are focusing on gratitude this week, we thought we should share some of the amazing health benefits of practicing thankfulness (yes, gratitude improves your health!). Here it goes!
 
1. Gratitude improves your sleep… Practicing gratitude improves your mood as it allows you to release negative energies and emotions. As a result, your mind will become quieter and calmer, which in turn can improve your sleep. Find out more by reading Psychology Today’s great article.

2. Gratitude helps you to heal… Not only by helping you get a good night’s sleep, keeping up a regular practice enhances your view of the world. You’ll find yourself seeking and finding positives in your day. When you think positively, you feel positive… And positive energy heals the body! Find out more in Louise Hay’s amazing book, ‘Heal Your Life’.
 
3. Gratitude encourages a healthy lifestyle… When you’re ‘living in gratitude’ you will find that you want to take better care of yourself as you value yourself and your life more. You’ll notice that you eat less junk and feel more motivated to exercise more… Take a look at this great article for more information.
