Across HappiMe social media this week, we will be focusing on BEATING LONELINESS! At the moment, the HappiMe team feel that lots more people than usual are experiencing loneliness. All over the world, people have lost daily human connection, which can be incredibly challenging on its own, without the rest of the difficulties we are facing too. Check out this article to find out more about what loneliness is. You might be surprised! … And this post gives you some top tips for managing loneliness. Some of the tips in the last post aren’t relevant for those going into another lockdown, however, you can get creative! For example, catching up with friends and playing online games using video calling apps, setting up messenger groups with colleagues and sending daily memes to share how you’re feeling, or even keeping a journal to reread next year… All of these can be really powerful ways of staying connected with others and the “self”.
