Thank you for helping to raise the initial £6000 we needed for developers fees.
The app has now been developed and is available in both the app store and google play store!
Bristol based HappiMe is completely non-profit and is ran mainly by volunteers, so we are still fundraising!

Let's change these awful stats...
- 850,000 children aged 5-16 have mental health problems.*
- Three children in every classroom have a diagnosable mental health disorder.**
- 1 in 10 deliberately harm themselves regularly (and 15,000 of them are hospitalised each year because of this).*
- Nearly 80,000 children and young people suffer from severe depression.
- Half of all lifetime cases of mental illness begin by age 14.**
- 45% of children in care have a mental health disorder - these are some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
- Nearly 300,000 young people in Britain have an anxiety disorder.**
- 95% of imprisoned young offenders have a mental health disorder. Many of them are struggling with more than one disorder.
* Stats from Mental Heath foundation
** Stats from YoungMinds
Many thousands of children and young people are isolated, unhappy, have eating disorders and self-harm; some tragically take their own lives. Many are likely to become victims of crime, grow up in dysfunctional families, or left to cope with illness, drugs and/or alcohol issues – not necessarily their own.
Please help me change these awful statistics. Whatever we are doing right now is not working. It’s a big problem and it’s getting worse. By teaching our children that they can choose the thoughts they listen to and by giving them a new toolbox of strategies and techniques, we can help them to grow into happier and more confident young people.

- Please help give our children a new set up tools to build emotional resilience!
- It's a lot easier to build strong children than it is to fix broken ones!
- The education system does not have the resources to teach children, it’s not able to help them build the emotional resilience they need. Its up to us!
- Please support us. Whatever you can afford! Every little helps!
Help us make a difference!
HappiMe is a project that we feel very excited and passionate about. If we can help our children understand and gain control of their thinking from a young age, we can save them years of worrying and heartache; resulting in happier, more confident young adults. A child that has the belief that ‘I’m not good enough’ will grow into an adult that believes the same, so early intervention could very well stop this becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy.
However, in order to make our dream a reality and begin this exciting journey to start helping children be happier, we need your help. We need help raising funds to allow us to continue to develop the HappiMe app and our programmes.
The support and encouragement we have had from parents and teachers has been overwhelming. It seems there is a massive need. Unfortunately, it seems that there is a growing need for this type of resource with more and more children being treated for anxiety, depression and self-harming.
