HappiMe App 30 Day Challenge


​Thank you for Downloading the HappiMe App.

We are really excited about the difference HappiMe will make to you and your families, as you use the app over the next 30 days and beyond.
To create long term changes, we have to create good habits and new ways of thinking!


To join the challenge, all you need to do is:
  1. If you haven't already downloaded the app, do that first. Click here for the links to the apps
  2. When you first login to the app, you will be asked to supply a username. Simply register your username on the link below so we know you are participating. 
  3. Then start using the app every day for the next 30 days! Use it as often as you can.  Watch the intro video., play the swipe game, listen to the mindful bites and create playlists of helpful thoughts and listen as often as you can. 
  4. Check your scores on the leader board and read below how to build up your scores. 

We are hoping the app is now completely bug free but if you come across anything that doesn't work as it should -

The 30 day Challenge!

1. LEARN a little about the way your brain works!
  • Watch the intro video together and have a conversation about it with your young person or teenager. (if you are doing the Family challenge) 
  • Build up your points by using the using the app and posting on social media using #happimeapp.  
​2. RECOGNISE how you are feeling and when  you are talking negatively to yourself about yourself!
  • Notice how you are feeling each day. What emotions are you feeling? Talk about them? Accept them. There are no good or bad emotions. They are what they are!  Your feelings, thoughts and actions are all interconnected, so choosing a more helpful way of thinking will lead to you feeling more positive! 
  • Over the next 30 days, turn up the volume on your thoughts and listen to what you say to yourselves.  Every time you catch yourself (or each other) saying something unhelpful or self-sabotaging - interrupt the pattern and choose a more helpful thought. Understand that your thoughts create your reality. What you think about, you bring about! 
  • Play the Swipe game - this will help you recognise your unhelpful thoughts and give you suggestions for more helpful thoughts)  (1 point per correct answer!)
3. DEAL with your emotions and self limiting beliefs 
  • Each day try a different mini mindful bite (10 points each). Before you get up or before sleep, listen to the Confident-Me audio, visualising yourself achieving what you are looking to improve or the Happier Me audio to help you feel happier.  Try the HappiTapping videos to help you to stop worrying. reduce stress and anxiety.  Or practice mindful breathing with the Instant Calm audio.  ​
4. REPLACE your unhelpful thoughts 
  • Create a playlist of helpful thoughts  (or record your own). Choose a backing track or upload your own. Hit play continuously and listen as many times as you can each day, to start changing the way you think!  Listen whilst you are getting ready in the morning, having breakfast, in the car, in the bath, shower, at the gym, have it playing quietly in the background whilst studying or working or as you go to sleep (1 point for every minute you listen!)

Collect points!

Use the app everyday for 30 days
  • 1 point per minute listening to your playlists (up to 150 per day)
  • 10 Points for listening to a mindful bite (50 per day)
  • 1 point per correct answer on the swipe game! (50 per day)

Join the #Campaign 
  • Join the #HappiMeApp campaign by posting on social media!  At least one of your team to post one (or all) of the following on either Twitter, Instagram or Facebook!  Don't forget to include the # of your usernames from the app.

Tell us your favourite helpful thought of the day from the app
 2. Favourite Mindful Bites
How did your mindful bite make you feel today? Which is your favourite? 
3. Inspire us!
Share your favourite positive, inspirational, motivate quote!
 4. Be nice to yourselves!
What have you done to make to be nice to yourself today? Inspire others! Tell them what you have you done to make yourself feel a little better today!   
5.Chimp Talk
 Recognising when your Chimp is running the show is one of the biggest things you can do to help you feel happier and less worried. Your Chimp is the part of your brain that wants to keep you in your comfort zone! It wants to keep you safe. This is the part of your brain that tells you that you can't do things or that you are not good enough.  Tell us your Chimp talk so you can help others to recognise theirs. 
6.Tell us how you are feeling today!
...whatever that emotion is, we want to know. Are you feeling fantastic, great, good, calm, neutral,  sad, angry, worried, or depressed?  Tell us how YOU are feeling today, so others can see that we all feel these emotions at some point. It's OK. It doesn't make us a bad person or a failure. Let's take the stigma out of talking about Mental Heath issues!
