How can I help my child control their anger?
"If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow.” – Chinese Proverb
Across HappiMe social media this week, we will be focusing on ANGER!
We think it’s fair to say that anger often has a bit of a bad reputation. However, at HappiMe, we believe that anger can be a learning opportunity – or a chance to be taught something about ourselves in a given situation. Naturally, we feel this is never more important than when a child is expressing their anger. Now, of course, there are healthy and unhealthy ways of managing any emotion, especially anger (maybe this is where that bad reputation comes from?).
If your child would benefit from a slightly more helpful way to express themselves, then check out this article for some amazing tips.
How else can HappiMe help you or your child? We offer targeted coaching programmes, which can be really useful for supporting you to develop more helpful thinking patterns. Find out more here.
