Gift Ideas for Kids
Have you bought all of your Christmas presents yet, or are you like most people I know, who’ll get started next week?
Across HappiMe social media this week, we will be focusing great children’s gifts/books.
You may be thinking, “HappiMe offer mental health support to families, so why would they be sharing gift ideas?”, and I would say, “that’s a good point! However, these gifts are great developmental and mental health related prezzies… Similar to hiding vegetables in soup!”
First up, I wanted to share a great toy for tots, the ‘Leapfrog Speak and Learn Puppy’. This cute toy is a puppy that not only sings and talks, he also converses with your child by repeating back to them what they say… Even when it’s baby gibberish.
When children are learning to talk, one of the greatest gifts we can give them is the gift of conversation – even if it doesn’t make any sense. Simply talking, repeating what they say, or trying to decipher what they’re saying and correcting them with a smile, will help them with this key developmental process.
