It seems we may be nearing the end of “lockdown”, so HappiMe co-creator, Abby, thought it would be helpful to spend this week sharing her daily rich-uals & tips for thriving, not just surviving… So, here it goes!
1. First thing:
If I’m honest, I am not much of a “morning person” or “night owl”, so I guess I fall somewhere in between. That being said, it is very rare that I hit snooze more than once (as long my alarm is set for after 6:30am!). As soon as I wake up, I complete a 10-15-minute guided meditation. I generally use ‘Insight Timer’, which has become one of my favourite apps over the past few years, so if you follow me there – you can see what I am meditating to each day (simply search "Abby at HappiMe"). It’s around now that I would check my ‘to do’ list for the day too. Then, I jump up, shower and get ready. I also complete a morning HIIT workout 3 or 4 times per week.
Over the past month or so, I have started drinking a homemade smoothie every morning (get in touch on instagram for the recipe), alongside a pint of water & an audiobook or some music. Now, I am ready for my day!
Before settling down to work (I have been WFH for the past 3-months), I like to complete a writing exercise; whether that be journaling or a set task. At the moment, I am working through Joe Vitale’s Awareness tasks (again, DM us for more information)...
