On Friday 7th July 2017, HappiMe founder Jo Richings facilitated a fantastic ‘Feel Good’ workshop to the whole team at Oasis Academy Connaught in Knowle West, after a pupil at the school won HappiMe’s ‘Draw a HappiTar’ competition. Not only did winning young artist receive a cartoon of their HappiTar- which will be used on the HappiMe app - and a £100 Amazon voucher, they also won a full day “Feel Good Workshop” for all their teachers and support staff.
They were joined by Jackie Hawken, Bristol’s mindfulness expert, who ran a mindfulness session at the well-being workshop, and Abby Pickles, a HappiMe Coach for children and young people, who ran a brilliant session on HappiTapping, a tool that can relieve stress instantly.
HappiMe’s founder Jo Richings said “We had a brilliant, fun day with them all. Lots of team exercises around mindfulness, mindset, gratitude, CBT, and de-stressing techniques. The school staff at Oasis Connaught do a fantastic job every day, so we wanted to give them a relaxing and fun day with lots of tools and techniques to help reduce their everyday stress levels.”
